Day 4 "You Are Beautiful"

Beauty in Sharing God

Good Morning Beauties!

“She speaks with wisdom, and faithful instruction is on her tongue.” Proverbs 31:26 NIV

Who is “she”? Who is the woman who has spoken into your life and has been your shining example of God’s love and light? Perhaps you have been blessed with more than one of these Godly women.

Now that you’ve identified her, write down what she means to you. What was her role in God transforming your life? What were the big things and what were the little things she did to show you the person of Christ? Selah.

Think of her character. How would you describe her to a someone who’s never met her? What has she shown you that perhaps others don’t know? Selah.

Please listen to the You Are Beautiful song again today with her in mind. Can you see all eight attributes in her? Would you consider sharing the song with her and thanking her for all she’s done in your life?

You Are Beautiful

God uses women to share His love and lead us in our faith with truth and noble character. Please take time today to thank the Lord Jesus for bringing such a beautiful spiritual leader into your life.

Love and Blessings,
Kendra

Day 3 "Loved Above All Things"

Beauty of All Creation

Good Morning Beauties!

“Let ALL that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget ALL the good things he does for me. He forgives ALL my sins and heals ALL my diseases. He redeems me from death and crowns me with love and tender mercies.” Psalm 103:2-4 NLT

We serve a God of ALL. He loves you above ALL your sin, and above ALL His beautiful creation. Nothing compares to you - nothing is loved more than you by Jesus. Selah.

I’ve shared below some of my favorite verses that speak to the infinite power and capacity of Jesus. You’ll also see a couple that describe our ability to move in the power of the Holy Spirit and share in the same ability.

“Through him ALL things were made …” John 1:3 NIV

“And we know that in ALL things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 NIV

“And my God will meet ALL your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:19 NIV

“ I can do ALL things through him who gives me strength.” Philippians 4:13 NIV

“ … take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish ALL the flaming arrows of the evil one.” Ephesians 6:16 NIV

Take a moment to write down your response to these truths found in God’s Word. Did emphasizing the word ALL change the way you’ve understood a particular scripture? What did the Holy Spirit reveal to you? Selah.

As you go about your day, pray the Holy Spirit would bring to mind more scripture (truth) that speak to the ALL powerful Jesus.

“For from him and through him and for him are ALL things. To him be the glory forever! Amen.” Romans 11:36 NIV. Let’s lift our hands and voices in praise to the God who loves us above all things.

Day 2 "Daughter of the King"

Beautiful Faith

Good Morning Beauties!

“Jesus turned and saw her. ‘Take heart, daughter,’ he said, ‘your faith has healed you.’ And the woman was healed at that moment.” Matthew 9:22 NIV

Do you know the story of Veronica? You may know her as “the woman with the issue of blood.” She is the only woman in the Bible Jesus calls “Daughter.” Her story of faith is significant and an inspiration to us today.

I’m grateful scenes from The Chosen are made available to us via YouTube, so we can go back and get to know the characters of the Bible so much better - to understand them as human beings, just like us. Let me introduce you to Veronica…

Faith of His Daughter - The Chosen S3/E5
(I do not own the rights to this video)

This moving scene picks up right after Veronica pushes her way through the crowds to be close to Jesus. She knew if she could only touch the hem of His garment, she would be healed. What faith!

How did you respond to this scene? What part touched your heart? I wept through it, how about you? What about her faith made an impact? How did you feel watching Jesus call her “Daughter” with such love and tenderness? Selah.

I love the part when Jesus recognized she must be exhausted. He knows us so well - every struggle, every hardship, every tear. Veronica had been dealing with her medical condition for twelve years. What have you been dealing with? For how long? Are you feeling exhausted? Selah.

When Veronica burns her garments that once hid her condition, I was cheering. She took off the burden given by the enemy and destroyed it in the fire. She allowed Jesus to reveal truth about her identity - she was His daughter. Once being healed by Jesus spiritually and physically, she was truly free. Has your faith brought you freedom as well? What are the moments your faith changed everything? Selah.

What do you need to be set free from today? Is something from your past causing a heavy burden? Do you need to release? You only need to ask Jesus.

Day 1 "You Are Beautiful"

The Beauty of a Worshipping Woman

Good Morning Beauties and Happy Mother’s Day!

“God is within her, she will not fall.” Psalm 46:5
On this very first day of our journey, God wants to strengthen you with His truth. Did you realize the “belt of truth” is the first part of the armor of God He has freely given us to help defeat the enemy? Truth is priority for God.

We start this journey by examining the lyric, “You are beautiful.” This line is repeated often, so we will dive deep throughout the journey, but today, let’s start at the beginning - the foundation. What does beauty mean to you? Do you remember the first time it made an impact in your life? Were you encouraged in your beauty as a child? Selah, (stop and ponder these things.)

Now let’s set a baseline, if you will. What do you believe about your beauty today? Not what you should believe, but what you actually believe? Selah.

Take time to answer these questions. Use your YABS journal to write down your answers, then spend time with Jesus and ask Him to reveal His truth about your beliefs. What does He want to show you? Write it down. The final step is to pray about what you’ve learned from God and to thank Him for His faithfulness and love as He leads you through your journey.

Usually, I include a song at the end of each post as an encouragement. Today, I’ve found a true gift for Mother’s Day on YouTube - I do not own any rights to the video.
Please take the time (sometime today) to watch and listen to how God is wanting to bless women in the world right now. It’s marvelous!!

Day Of Preparation

Love. Laugh. Lead

Good Morning Beauties!

“Let the morning bring me word of Your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life.” Psalm 143:8

Welcome to the 2025 Mother’s Day Journey! I’m so glad you’re here. Have you brought your mom or daughter with you, or perhaps that special woman mentor in your life? Whomever is on this journey with you, one thing is certain, Jesus is right there with you too.

Thank you for your courage to step out and try something new. Thank you for your desire to grow closer to Jesus. Thank you for your commitment to lead the next generations with faith, strength and dignity. Thank you for trusting God and following Him on this 40 Day Journey.

There’s a reason you’re here. God has something magnificent planned for you. Let me begin by saying I admire your courage, strength and dedication to grow deeper in your relationship with God. We have a promise about our desire to seek God in Matthew 7:8, “For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (NIV)

I believe this 40 Day Journey experience is a “narrow gate” which leads to the Truth of God few people find as written in Matthew 7:13-14. “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.  But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” (NIV)

How can we possibly navigate through this world without knowing who we really are? Without knowing the Truth, the enemy fills our heads with lies. Our belief in them leads to our destruction. God desperately wants you to know the Truth about who you are and who He created you to be, which will lead to a life of love, joy, and peace - a life of fulfilling your purpose for the generations to come, and a life He died to give you.

As you can see, this journey is significant, and with anything of great importance, we must approach it with great intentionality. We must prepare for our journey. We will take time today to pray, search our hearts, and look at our expectations, obstacles, and motivations. Are you ready to enter into the narrow gate?

Let’s start by defining our expectations. What do you want to accomplish? What do you want God to do? What are you willing to do, to give, and to surrender in order for you to consider it a successful experience? Selah. (Stop and ponder these things) Take time this morning to pray and ask God about these things. Find a place in your journal to write down your answers. You will want to refer back to them during your journey.

Next, we need to plan for obstacles along the way. Spend time in prayer asking God to reveal anything that may stand in your way of a smooth journey. I know from personal experience, as well as hearing from several women who’ve taken this journey, having a busy schedule is a big obstacle. Like with this example, we have to create an action plan to overcome road blocks.

Take charge over anything standing in your way! You have the power to make your schedule. What will you do to allow for more time to spend with God each day and journey with Him? What sacrifices might need to be made? Is it worth it? Selah. Like your expectations, please write down a list of obstacles standing in your way, and beside each one, write down your action plan to overcome it with victory.

Lastly, we’ll look at motivation. Why do you want to take this 40 Day Journey? What’s calling you to a deeper relationship with God at this particular time? Has something changed? Do you find yourself in a valley and want to be brought out, or are you in a mountain top place in your life where you want to grow even closer to God? Is it somewhere in between? Selah.

I love Psalm 42:1-2, “As the deer pants for streams of water, so my soul pants for you, my God. My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When can I go and meet with God?” (NIV) King David, often quoted as “the man after God’s own heart”, wanted to be in the presence of God and in deep relationship with Him more than anything else. Is that where you are? Longing for God? Longing for Truth? Selah.

Please write down your answers in your journal. Trust me, you will want to review your motivations, your “why” on those mornings when it’s hard to get out of bed and get to your journal. Let it remind you of all the reasons you’re taking the journey.

All of our journeys will be different, but we can all agree that today, as we begin, there is an uncertainty about where our journeys will take us. That’s okay. Do not fear. Though the experience is unknown, we do know the one who is leading us, and He will be with us to love and care for us the entire way.

The universal goal is change. We are asking God to reveal the lies we’ve been believing and replace them with His Truth. The battle is waged in our minds. Transformation occurs when we trust God and allow Him to change our thoughts. Are you ready for this kind of change? Selah.

Let’s pray… Dear Lord Jesus, we come to you today in great anticipation of all you have in store for us during our 40 Day Journey. You have created each one of us, perfectly and wonderfully. May we come to know the truth of who we are in you, Jesus. Reveal to us the lies and deception we’ve believed and replace them with your truth. Lord, take back what the enemy has stolen and give us newness of life so we may pursue you and our purpose. Holy Spirit, help us to surrender our control and bring comfort and peace to us during our journey experience. We welcome the change you have for us - from glory to glory. We love you, Lord, and we lift up our prayer in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

Day of Reflection

New Life’s Journey

Good Morning Beauties!

Thank you for joining me here one more time to reflect on our entire journey experience. The last 40 days have brought me to Jesus through a challenging time in my life. Each morning, I looked forward with anticipation, even when I wasn’t feeling my best, to spending time in God’s presence as He transformed me yet again.

What about you? When reflecting on the attributes of your beauty, do you now believe you are lovely, joyful, royalty, redeemed, righteous, purity, and a child of God? How did God change you, your thinking, your beliefs? Are you able to pinpoint a day where He used the lyric to bring the truth you’ve been needing to hear and accept? Grab your journal and write a list of the truths you now believe instead of the lies. (Perhaps you’ve been keeping this list throughout your journey.) Selah.

Take time to CELEBRATE that list!! You have worked hard for this growth. You have moved beyond your comfort level, and dedicated yourself to a life change. Congratulations!

“For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.” Romans 14:7-8 (NLT)

This marvelous new life we’ve been given by Christ is lived for His honor and glory. We live fully for Him, meaning we wholly surrender our rights to Him. This life of surrender is where we find true freedom. We’ve spent a little time already talking about surrender, but it’s vitally important to our ability to live the life Jesus died to give us - one of complete surrender and freedom.

Has the 40 Day Journey helped your process of surrender? Has the revelation shown by God allowed you to hand over more of your life to Him? Are you still holding on to the control of certain areas of your life? It’s not too late. Why not release it today? Selah.

Remember the saying we’ve all heard before - we’re blessed to be a blessing. Jesus always freed the captives so they could go free others. Jesus was never selfish and taught His disciples to always be mindful of how they could help others.

If you’ve been blessed by this 40 Day Journey experience, will you tell others? Will you want the other women in your life to share in the freedom you’ve found? Would you consider sharing your story on my website to encourage others? Perhaps sharing a journal with a friend and going through your next journey with her. Please pray and ask God to speak to you about sharing His love with others you know? Selah.

Let’s take all the blessings of our transformation and continue our journey with the freedom of new life. Today, let’s say “yes” again to our glorious Savior, Jesus Christ.

Day 40 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful Reflection

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

CONGRATULATIONS! You’ve done what most have not; you’ve made it through to the end. I know it wasn’t easy, you made sacrifices, you stayed focus, and you did it. Tomorrow we’ll reflect on the entire journey, but today let’s look, one final time, at your beauty. It’s time to silence, once and for all, the lies that say you are anything but beautiful.

Looking at the word beauty, how has the meaning changed for you over the past 40 days? Do you have a new opinion of your own beauty? How would you describe your beauty? Are there any residual messages from the enemy you need to bring before Jesus? Selah.

On my very first journey, it was on this day, Day 40, I had an “ah ha” moment with God. He brought me full circle and showed me everything was culminating to this truth - Jesus is marvelously beautiful, and I simply reflect HIS beauty when I live my life for him. (When I’ve completely surrendered to His will and am living each day in the Spirit.)

The great mystery of our Christian faith is this…Jesus lives in us, and moves in us. Our inner life, our behavior, and even our physical appearance all reflect the Lord. We reflect His love, the fruit of the Spirit, and all the attributes we’ve learned about during our journey: beauty, loveliness, joyfulness, royalty, righteousness, redemption, purity, and being a child of God.

It’s all about JESUS! It has always been about Him since the beginning of time. Our Savior, our Lord, our Everything! Let’s take time today in celebration of Jesus and how much He means to us. We can never tire of lifting up the Name of the One who sets us free and gives us new life. Our Beautiful Jesus, Hallelujah!!

Day 39 "You Are A Child Of God"

Peace and Joy of a Child

Good Morning Beauties!

The Bible talks about being a child or “childlike.” Why do you suppose there are references in the Bible to become like a child? What does that look like for you? What if you didn’t have a great childhood? What then? Seek your Abba Father for answers today. Selah.

The photo above and verse below portray a “carefree” life. There’s no striving for Earthly wealth, position, or status. There is an ease about life knowing that all your needs are already met by a Father who adores you. He is more than your provider, He’s your defender, your strength, your best friend, your counselor, your all in all. He is faithful, trustworthy, merciful, and dependable. What other ways would you describe your Abba Father? Selah.

When we look at who God is and how much He loves us, fear, anxiety, guilt, and shame fade away and we stand confident before Him. Please take time today to express how you see yourself standing before God. Write words, a poem, a song, paint, draw, dance….whatever makes sense for you. Selah.

Day 38 "Treasured By Our Lord"

God’s Beautiful Treasure

Good Morning Beauties!

Today’s lyric is one of my favorites in the entire song. The attribute of being valued to God brought tremendous healing to my life on my very first journey experience. I’ll never forget it! He gave me my new name, “Segullah” which means “God’s treasured possession” in Hebrew.

I’ve found a beautiful devotional message on being valued by God. Please enjoy it, meditate on it, and bring God into your prayer for any wound needing to be healed.

“For you are my treasured possession.” (FathersLoveLetter.com)

Exodus 19:5 NIV
”Now if you obey me fully and keep my covenant, then out of all nations you will be my treasured possession.”

We determine an object's value by what we are willing to pay for it. You may only be willing to pay $1.00 for a cup of coffee, so that is what its value is to you. Some people are willing to pay incredible sums of money to own pieces of art, while in others eyes these paintings wouldn't be worth the wall space that they would take up.

The value we place on things is very subjective. As the saying goes...one man's garbage is another man's gold. If how much we are willing to pay for something determines its true value, then we must be incredibly valuable to God, for He paid the highest price that could be paid for our redemption the life of His only begotten Son.

God demonstrated His love to us and proved our worth to Him by offering the highest payment He could possibly pay. The God who made all the precious jewels, the gold and the silver, has chosen us to be His most treasured possession. Our worth is not based on what we think of ourselves, or by our own good deeds, but solely on the astronomical price that God was willing to pay for us to come home.

We are of greater worth to the Father than the most stunning treasures imaginable, because of the price He was willing to pay. May we never forget the value of the gift the Father gave us when He sacrificed His beloved Son. Jesus truly proved that we truly are His Father's most treasured possession.

PRAYER
Father, help me comprehend the incredible value You place on my life. I receive the love gift of Your Son Jesus as the price You paid in order to purchase my redemption. I acknowledge that my worth does not come from what I do, but simply because of Whose I am. Because of Jesus, I am accepted as Your child and am Your most treasured possession. In the name of Your beloved Son Jesus I pray, AMEN.

Day 37 "Beloved And So Adored"

Jesus - Our Beautiful Living Water

Good Morning Beauties!

The love of God - what can compare? It is life giving, healing, merciful…everything we need. Once touched by this love, your life is forever changed. Do you know it? If yes, do you want more of it? If not, seek Him and His love and He will be found. Selah.

I love the transformative power of God’s love. One of my favorite examples in the Bible is of the Samaritan woman Jesus found at the well. Here is a woman with much sin, but once she had revelation of whom she was talking to - the Savior of the World, she ran back and told everyone in her town about Him. She had been washed clean and was no longer the town’s blemish. It’s a beautiful story of redemption and can be found in John 4:1-42.

Jesus was very personal to the Samaritan woman, and that’s what He wants with you - a deep personal relationship. He gave her new life, and that’s His desire for you too - a new level of intimacy with your Savior. Do you relate to this woman at all? Where do you see the similarities? In what way do you want to be more like her? Selah.

We try to do acts of service for Him, but the truth is, He just wants us to be. Be with Him. Be present in our conversations with Him. Be at peace. Be content with ourselves. Will you “just be” with Him today as He speaks to your heart about how much He loves you? Selah.

I pray you will be encouraged by this video which includes several transformation stories of women just like us.

Day 36 "You Are A Child of God"

Abba’s Child

Good Morning Beauties!

Have you ever been lost? As a child, it can be a terrifying experience. It’s an overwhelming feeling of panic and danger until you find your parent. The feeling of love and security washes over you like a warm blanket, and you feel completely safe once again.

We can feel lost as adults too. Life’s circumstances swirl around in our mind until we’re dizzy. We feel impending danger and the fear becomes a stronghold and causes us to forget who we are and whose we are. Do you feel that way now? Are you secretly praying the world would pause for a moment to let you catch your breath? Selah.

Sweet Beauties, remember you are a Child of The Most High God! He is your Abba Father, your Daddy. Whenever you feel lost, He will gently take your hand and lead you to His promises - green pastures, still waters, smooth places. Take a moment to read Psalm 23 for encouragement. Selah.

Father God is all the security and strength we’ll ever need. He brings all He has for each one of us. He is an ever loving and ever faithful Father. You can trust Him with your life.

I recommend you look in your concordance today and look up every entry in the Bible that references the word “child” or “children.” You will find truth after truth about God’s love for you. Are you ready to open the floodgates of His love? Selah.

As we wrap up the truth of our Purity, I encourage you to take a look at the connection between our Purity and our Intimacy with God.  That's what this journey experience is all about - growing deeper in our relationship with Him and walking in the newness of life. Day 34 "You Are Purity"

God’s Pure Creation

Good Morning Beauties!

I hope you all are feeling healthy and energized as we’re fast approaching the end of our journey. Your dedication is to be commended and applauded. I hope you are giving yourself credit for the hard work you’re putting into your journey experience.

I love this photo. To me, it ties in what we’ve discussed over the past few days about purity. The center represents our hearts and how God purifies us like gold. The white petals are the light breaking through the darkness. The total picture is God’s perfect creation on display for His splendor. Can you see it? Do you believe this is how He sees you? If not this flower, what represents how God sees your purity? Selah.

Over the past few days, have you identified places of guilt or shame during our discussion on purity? On my second journey experience, God revealed deeply hidden shame I was still carrying around from things I had done in my teen and early 20’s. Things done out of the pain I was in. Truth set me free from the bondage of the guilt and shame. What do you need to be set free from today? Selah.

Here is one of the most pure worship songs I’ve ever heard. Please use it in your time with God as He heals you from any wounds and brings you into a new deeper relationship with Him.

Day 33 "Perfect In His Sight"

Messy. Perfect. Beautiful

Happy Lord’s Day Beauties!

“For by that one offering he made forever perfect in the sight of God all those whom he is making holy.” Hebrews 10:14 (TLB)

Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross, (offering) made us perfect in God’s sight, even though we are still being sanctified, (being made Holy) by the Spirit. What does this mean? God already sees you as perfect! Yes, you still sin, yes you are growing in your likeness to Jesus from glory to glory; however, when your Abba Father looks at you, He looks beyond the mess and sees perfection. Hallelujah!!

Do you believe it? Take time to give this truth your consideration and write how remembering this truth can transform your life. No more stress and strife trying to be perfect before God or others. Selah.

If this truth is new revelation to you, ponder what it means to be fully accepted just the way you are…perfect. Selah.

The Bible says that God sees us as perfect through the grace of Jesus Christ. God's grace allows us to overcome sin and be transformed into new creations.  Let’s celebrate this amazing gift with our praise!

Day 32 "Darkness Turned To Light"

Beautiful Light of New Life

Good Morning Beauties!

Darkness. We’ve all had our share of it. It’s a place of loneliness, hopelessness, and perhaps even despair. The enemy is King of darkness with his only purpose to steal, kill, and destroy. Has he succeeded? What parts of your life do you keep hidden in the darkness with your guilt and shame? Selah.

You may be thinking, “What a bummer way to start today’s blog. I came here to be encouraged.” Beauties, we must first recognize the dark places and give them to God before we can be free of them. Enter - His marvelous light.

God created you with your freedom in tact, and He wants to restore you to that beautiful place. It takes being honest with yourself and Him. I remember a moment in time when I got really mad at God. I was going to church, earnestly seeking Him through Bible studies, and leading a worship dance team. I was doing all the right things, but was still not living a free life. My spirit knew it, and in frustration one day I exclaimed, “I don’t get it! Your word says, ‘where there’s light, there is no darkness.’ but I still have darkness!”

My honestly propelled me forward into my healing. A few months later He called me and met me in Australia where He changed my life forever. He filled my being with His love and light and answered my prayer.

What’s your story? Can you remember when God turned your darkness into light, turned your mourning into dancing? Are you in need of that kind of transformation right now? Cry out to Him with an honest heart and He will answer. Selah.

Day 31 "You Are Purity"

Created Pure

Good Morning Beauties!

We are entering the last ten days of our journey together. Perhaps the most revealing days are ahead. Let’s take time today for reflection and assessment to ensure you finish strong. How are your expectations doing? Are they being met? What do you want God to do? What are you willing to do to ensure they are being met? Are your action plans eliminating, or at least minimizing, any obstacles to your success? Is there need for some tweaking or a complete rewrite? Are you still motivated to meet with God every day and spend time with Him so He can reveal truth to your heart and make lasting change as a new creation in Christ? Selah. Selah. Selah.

Our next truth is “You Are Purity.” Here are a couple of definitions of Purity to consider:.. ”freedom from adulteration or contamination” and “freedom from immorality”. How do you define it? What definition are you trying to live up to? Selah.

Jesus gave us a chance to “wipe the slate clean” and have a fresh start. Isn’t that what we want? When we are led by our human nature, living in the past, tempted by our sin, we want to start over and do it differently, do it better. Jesus’s sacrifice on the cross has allow us to have an entirely new life! No longer moved by the whims of this world, but living free in the Spirit.

“ I do not want to be proud of anything except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of the cross, the ways of this world are dead to me, and I am dead to them. If a person does or does not go through the religious act of becoming a Jew, it is worth nothing. The important thing is to become a new person.” Galatians 6:14-15 (NLV)

Jesus didn’t come to correct our behavior, but to purify our hearts and make us new. It’s always about the heart with Him. Will you join me in making this song our prayer?

Day 30 "And You Are Beautiful"

Beautiful Cross of Christ

Good Morning Beauties!

The attribute of “Redeemed” is always highly emotional and deeply moving for me. How about you? Were you able to take a good look at truth, despite the difficulty, and accept it as your reality? Were you able to gain a new sense of freedom? What did God reveal to you during the past few days that made the greatest impact? Selah.

The point of every 40 Day Journey, is to believe we have received the eight attributes of Christ, and our beauty flows from them. You may question the beauty of redemption, because the cross was a torture device, and anything but beautiful. If we look a little closer, we find it’s the result of Jesus’ death on the cross and His resurrection that is truly beautiful. His love poured out to us through His sacrifice on the cross is magnificently Beautiful.

I’ve found a song that describes the beauty of the cross so well, in fact, that’s the name of the song. I usually include it on Day 30 as an encouragement. I also like to share an interview of the singer, Jonny Diaz. The link is provided below along with the song.

As you spend time with God today, I hope you find the article interesting and up lifting. I hope you are moved by the beautiful truth in the song. More importantly, I pray you have found a deeper relationship with Christ and are experiencing a newness of life.

God proved His love on the Cross. When Christ hung, and bled, and died, it was God saying to the world, ‘I love you.’

Day 29 "You Are Redeemed"

Beautiful Assurance

Good Morning Beauties!

“This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life. God didn’t go to all the trouble of sending his Son merely to point an accusing finger, telling the world how bad it was. He came to help, to put the world right again. Anyone who trusts in him is acquitted; anyone who refuses to trust him has long since been under the death sentence without knowing it. And why? Because of that person’s failure to believe in the one-of-a-kind Son of God when introduced to him.” John 3:16-18 (MSG)

Our salvation, through the precious blood of Jesus Christ, is certain. Hallelujah! We have the assurance of eternal life! We are born again as Children of God. We’re free from eternal damnation and free to live with Abba Father forever. Do you have any doubts? Are there are any lies still lingering in your mind? Selah.

Let’s look at God’s Word, which is TRUTH, to ensure you are walking in the newness of life Jesus died to give you. I pray these verses will help you prioritize your life in Christ, even on those very busy days. Seek Him first and everything else will be given to you.

“Very truly I tell you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.” John 5:24 (NIV)

“Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them.” John 3:36 (NIV)

“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9 (NIV)

“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand.” John 10:28 (NIV)

“And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.  Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.” 1 John 5:11-13 (NIV)

I would love to pray with you and hear of your decision to accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior and if you’ve rededicated your life to Him. Please use the “Let’s Connect” section of my website.

Beauties, let’s sing this song as our prayer of thanksgiving to Jesus.

Day 28 "For You, The Savior Died"

The Beauty of Sacrifice

Good Morning Beauties!

This morning we must look at Love’s perfect sacrifice. Yesterday we looked at why God sent His Son to save us. Today we will look at the extent of what Jesus was willing to do to rescue us - the “how” He saved us.

“But he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed.” Isaiah 53:5 (NLT)

We’ve heard about Christ’s sufferings, His wounding, but can we really know all He endured for us? I’m not so sure. The bible tells us He was so badly beaten, He was unrecognizable. Take a moment to think about that. Selah.

Each time I’ve taken this 40 Day Journey, I’ve always come back to this music video. It provides the truth of Jesus’ sacrifice in song and action. It will be very difficult to watch, but I pray you will watch it. There is a deeper level of love you will receive as He reveals all He did to ensure you would be together for eternity.

Christ suffered and died for sins once for all. He never sinned and yet He died for us who have sinned. He died so He might bring us to God. His body died but His spirit was made alive.
