Good Morning Beauties!

Oh my goodness, so much can happen in a matter of days! It’s only been 10 days since our last “check-in” where we reflected on our journey to date. Since then, our world has been darkened by a health and economic crisis. Today is a perfect day to check-in and reflect on truth.

Today is important to stop and make time to gather your thoughts, your feelings, and your beliefs in light of your new reality. Usually on days of reflection, we look at the preparation steps and determine if they’re helpful in making your journey successful. I think it’s important to do so again today, but there’s more. How are you doing? Really doing? In your journal, write how you’re feeling, what you’re thinking, and how both are forming your beliefs. Now, determine if those beliefs are based on God’s truth or the circumstances surrounding you.

All it takes is to watch a “Pandemic Update” on the news to bring back fear and anxiety. The world is suffering right now, there’s no doubt about it. But, sweet Beauties, we are not of this world. Our true home is with God, and His promises are yes and AMEN. His Word tells us we will have trouble, but He will be right there with us. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Do you believe Him?

Like most people right now, my job is uncertain, and I can’t find my financial security in it. Of course this situation brings concern. I must pray for wisdom and make good choices with my finances. What is not helpful is to panic and bring fear and doubt into my soul. Fear is not of God, and I won’t allow it to rule my life.

When I got up this morning, I was delighted to see it had snowed just enough to cover the ground. Beautiful. It’s as if God wanted to blanket the Earth with His covering of peace and calm. There are so many birds singing and squirrels playing. They are free from worry in God’s presence. He is with them, so they can do what they were made to do, free from fear.

I’m praying for all of you today. I pray we all can have that same confidence in God as we continue to walk on our journeys. I pray for the HUGE worldly distractions to be quieted so we can hear His still small voice. I pray we see growth in our courage, bravery, and BEAUTY.

Good Afternoon Beauties!

This morning has been full of on-line sermons and wonderful worship. God even gave me a new song as I was inspired by a message from a pastor and friend of mine. Though we are isolated now, bound by physical limitations, God has made a way for the world to connect on a spiritual level like never before. AWESOME! Our God truly Rules and Reigns!!!

As we look again at our royal status with God, what are you thinking? What are you believing? Has the truth changed any behaviors this week? Selah.

For me, my royal status, which is clearly a gift from God, and nothing I’ve earned, has compelled me to think of others more than ever. In my security and confidence found in my Savior, I can shift the focus from myself to others. I want to shine the love and light of Jesus to everyone who doesn’t know Him. How do I help people who are trembling in fear and anxiety right now? It’s my prayer.

What’s YOUR prayer? Are you drawing closer to God right now, or looking to worldly security like money, food, and shelter? You are part of His Royal Family! He takes care of His Beloved Children. Let His love and light comfort any anxiety you may have - even in the corners of your mind. He is with you.

Glory in His Glow

Good Morning Beauties!

The glow of every light comes from THE source - Jesus! He is the light of the world - revealing truth in the hidden dark places. Through His Holy Spirit living inside you, He shines His light. What do you think about that fact? Do you believe it’s true? Selah.

Today I believe we all need the glow from Heaven (Jesus) to remind us of who He is and the power He has over darkness. Let’s look at what the Bible says…

“In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God. He existed in the beginning with God. God created everything through him, and nothing was created except through him. The Word gave life to everything that was created, and his life brought light to everyone. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness can never extinguish it.”
John 1:1-5 New Living Translation

“So the Word became human and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.” John 1:14 New Living Translation

The Bible makes it clear - Jesus is the light of the world, and He is the Word of God. Do you need a little light in your day? Here’s the prayer reading of scripture from Pastor Steven Furtick again. I just believe God is wanting to reassure us of His love and faithfulness to His children. During these uncertain times we can be certain of His love.

Prayer

Are you able to let go of all the things of the world and simply look to God? Let’s look right over the top of all the mess, and look into the eyes of our Savior. There’s nothing better…

The True Victor’s Crown
Photo by Jon Tyson on Unsplash

Good Morning Beauties!

We often think of a crown as a beautiful jewel adorned golden fixture, but today let’s look at the crown Jesus wore on that dark Friday. The victory is found there.

“Then Pilate took Jesus and had him flogged. 2 The soldiers twisted together a crown of thorns and put it on his head. They clothed him in a purple robe 3 and went up to him again and again, saying, “Hail, king of the Jews!” And they slapped him in the face.” John 19:1-3 New International Version

What do you feel when you read those words? Knowing Jesus suffered physical pain and humiliation for your sake? How do you feel when you hear that he’d do it all again for you?

The crown being presented on someone’s head signifies a winner - a victor. It also says, “This person belongs to a royal family.” In fact, the Roman soldiers were mocking Jesus by putting the crown on His head, but they had it right - He was a king - THE King! By accepting the crown, Jesus acknowledged the victory His Father had always intended. Jesus would defeat death once and for all and reconcile God’s beloved children back to Him. Hallelujah!!!

Let’s praise our Victorious King today. Here’s a song jam packed with God’s Truth. Enjoy!

Good Morning Beauties!

How are you doing? To be honest, I’m feeling a little numb right now. The magnitude of the Coronavirus is sinking in, and so I’m praying more and asking for a greater measure of trust as we move forward. How are you taking care of yourself during this time. Notice I didn’t ask how you’re taking care of your family. It’s important to prioritize yourself and then you will be the best possible person for your family.

Talk about a distraction! When we went through our preparation steps, I had no idea a global virus was about to hit us. The distraction is huge if we let it be. We can watch a million hours of TV talking about it, or we can turn off the noise, trust God, and continue our journeys. I vote for the latter, so here we go….

You are ROYAL. This term looks different to different people. What does it mean and look like for you? Are royals entitled or do they serve the community? Take time to write your thoughts in your journal.

In my personal study today, I found a wonderful blog speaking about this subject. Christi Given has written an article on the confidence of knowing we’re royal. Enjoy!

I wouldn’t say insecurity is a SIN, but I would say doubt, holding back, burying your talents (Matthew 25:13-40) and living in fear is not pleasing to God. There are many verses on God saying and commanding, “Do not fear….” We need to be obedient to this because God knows worrying doesn’t add anything to our lives; rather, it just wastes time and energy. Insecurity stems from doubt, fear and a lack of confidence, but when we are confident in GOD, not in ourselves, that is when we have the victory.

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. (Philippians 4:13)

God does call us to be bold, to not shrink back, and to walk in the spirit, to walk in victory. The Word of God has said the Lord hasn’t given us a spirit of timidity (2 Timothy 1:7). We all feel at times that we may not be eligible or qualified, but we need to walk in the security of our royalty as daughters of the King.

Here are 10 verses to help you overcome insecurity:

1. Philippians 4:13: “I can do ALL things THROUGH Christ who gives me strength.” This means that we can’t do the things God calls us to do on our own. We need the power of Christ in us by the Holy Spirit, and when we lean on him, we have total victory.

2. Galatians 5:16: “So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh.” When we walk with God and deny our flesh, we will understand our royal identity and know that in the end God has already won and “it is finished.”

3. 1 John 4:18: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love.” This verse says that the one who fears isn’t made perfect in God’s love…we need to have a revelation of HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US!

4. Matthew 25:29: “For to everyone who has will more be given, and he will have an abundance. But from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away.” If you are faithful with the little things, God will entrust you with more, and the same goes with trusting God in your capabilities. Step out, volunteer, give, be a good steward, do things for God’s Kingdom even if you are scared…God will be with you!

5. Hebrews 10:38: “But my righteous one will live by faith. And I take no pleasure in the one who shrinks back.” God is not pleased when we doubt Him, or bow down to fear. God goes before us and wants us to be courageous. Our actions and lives represent how much we trust Him and what we are willing to do to serve His Kingdom.

6. 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.” Remind yourself you are REAL royalty! We come from the King of Kings and Lord of Lords and are called to be leaders, while following Christ…we have the authority of leadership because Christ died for us, taking our place and making us heirs as God’s children.

7. Galatians 3:26-27: “So in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith, for all of you who were baptized into Christ have clothed yourselves with Christ.” You are God’s child, and if you are walking in the fruits of the Spirit and honoring God with your life in faith, then you are a child of LIGHT, not darkness. Fear is of the enemy, doubt is equivalent to the oceans being tossed to and fro in the sea, and courage comes from God’s truth, which sets us free.

8. James 1:22: “Do not merely listen to the Word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” Be not only a hearer of the Word, but a doer of the Word. Yes, we all have feelings of fear or doubt, and we can tend to listen to our thoughts or walk in a spirit contrary to God’s Word, but the Lord is very clear that we not only read the Bible, but that we also ask God for strength to do what God asks us. God will help us to walk in obedience when we humble ourselves and surrender our lives to Him. It is IMPOSSIBLE to do this alone in our own strength, which is why we need God’s daily bread (spiritual food), the living water of the Word and communion with Him through prayer. Let’s be doers, not doubters, amen?!

9. James 1:6: “But when you ask, you must believe and not doubt, because the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.” Believe and don’t doubt God’s Word. God keeps His Word and is FAITHFUL!

10. Psalm 139:13: “For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb.” Don’t compare yourself to others, as God knit you in your Mother’s womb and has a unique call and destiny for YOUR life.

Good Morning Beauties!

Do you believe it yet? The truth proclaiming your beauty? Is it difficult to know what’s going on in the world and still have joy? Do you feel weak because you’ve lost your peace? Selah.

Let me encourage you. Paul thought his weakness was a joyful thing, because then would he see God’s strength. “So I will celebrate my weaknesses, for when I’m weak I sense more deeply the mighty power of Christ living in me. So I’m not defeated by my weakness, but delighted! For when I feel my weakness and endure mistreatment—when I’m surrounded with troubles on every side and face persecution because of my love for Christ—I am made yet stronger. For my weakness becomes a portal to God’s power.” 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 The Passion Translation

Let God do His beautiful work in you - in your weakness. Release all fear and anxiety to Him. His desire is to free you from burden. I know these are mere words, and doing is much harder than listening to words. Below are two links. The first is Pastor Steven Furtick reading beautiful scriptures to engulf you in peace and security in our Lord. The second is a new amazing song to bless you in this time of turbulence. Good Morning Beauties!

The joy of The Lord is our strength. Have you heard this statement? Joy brings freedom and peace to our souls, and it also brings strength. What allows us to look up to the brilliance of God when everything in the world is so dark? JOY!

So what can ignite our real sense of joy? Gratitude. Taking an assessment of everything you have to be grateful for and then expressing that gratitude will immediately connect your soul with joy. Not looking past today, just focus on the here and now…what are you thankful for? Make a list. Selah.

The second part of the equation is to give voice to your gratitude. How will you do it? Through words, songs, dance, artistry? It’s your personal expression, so make it whatever you need it to be. Selah.

Here’s a song to get us started in thanking a loving and praiseworthy God. Do you notice the joy?

Peace of Grace

Good Morning Beauties!

Do you long for peace? I know I sure do. Sometimes I’m desperate for it. In those times, I check my “grace meter.” Am I living in God’s grace or my own works? This evaluation allows me to recalibrate my thoughts and realigns my life with His Amazing Grace.

What is your grace meter telling you? Are you living your life still trying to win God’s favor? Do you stress and strive everyday trying to be good enough in His eyes? Selah.

It’s a difficult concept to grasp as humans. We do nothing to earn the love and eternal life from God. All our sins are washed away by someone who was perfect, without sin, named Jesus. He made a way for us back to the Father by taking our sin upon Himself. Jesus died for us, for me, for you - and we did nothing to earn it and can never pay for this gift of life. Hard. To. Grasp.

What happens when we begin to understand God’s grace for us? Peace. It is a beautiful result of God’s love and acceptance for each of His children. What does it look like for you, peace? When have you experienced it most? Are you in need of another dose today? What will it take? Are there things you need to let go of so you can experience all He has for you? Selah.

The Beautiful Gift of Freedom
Photo by Na Inho on Unsplash

Good Morning Beauties!

You are free, if you feel it or not, Jesus has already given you the gift of freedom. Do you believe it? What keeps you from believing it? What do the lies tell you? How do the lies bind you from walking in freedom? Selah.

I chose to write the lyric in past tense on purpose. “Your spirit’s been set free.” Your spirit has (already) been set free. If your emotions don’t align with this truth, let’s take a look at what God’s Word says about it.

”And because you belong to Him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.” Romans 8:2 New Living Translation. Do you notice the tense? “Has FREED you…” It has already happened.

Why don’t you FEEL like you are free? You must believe it! Thoughts of truth and lies live in your mind, and whatever you choose to believe will then reside in your heart, and that belief is what will become your life. It’s your choice.

Let’s look at another truth from the Bible found in John 8:36 “So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free.” New Living Translation. Will you choose to believe truth and receive this beautiful gift? Selah.

Always Joy

Good Morning Beauties!

“Can you use some genuine joy in your life? A joy which can’t be quenched? A peace that can’t be taken? A happiness which can’t be threatened? There is such a joy. It is a sacred delight, a holy gladness. It comes from God and is within your reach.” – from The Applause of Heaven

We move forward today, taking one more step on our journey to examine Joy. What do think about joy and the fact that you are joyful? Are you saying “I sure don’t feel very joyful right now”? There are many serious and scary things going on in the world, and it may be difficult to discuss joy, but that makes it the perfect time to talk about it.

Joy is much more than a feeling. So the fact you may not be feeling joy, is ok. I believe joy is intertwined with peace, and we find peace when we trust God with our health, our finances, our relationships - with our very lives. Have you heard the saying, “the opposite of fear is faith”? I have clung to that saying for years, until recently when I heard something that resonated in my spirit as truth. “The opposite of fear is trust.”

When we trust our God loves us, is for us and not against us, and has a perfect plan for us, we can let go of fear and anxiety and allow joy and peace to flow within us like a beautiful river. We must look beyond our difficult circumstances to see how God can use them to bless others. And being used by God is a complete joy, isn’t it? Let’s take a look at the joy within Paul and Silas as they were imprisoned for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ.

MIRACLES CAN COME OUT OF PAINFUL PLACES - Acts 16:23-34 The Passion Translation

23 “After they were severely beaten, they were thrown into prison and the jailer was commanded to guard them securely. 24 So the jailer placed them in the innermost cell of the prison and had their feet bound and chained.

25 Paul and Silas, undaunted, prayed in the middle of the night and sang songs of praise to God, while all the other prisoners listened to their worship.

26 Suddenly, a great earthquake shook the foundations of the prison. All at once every prison door flung open and the chains of all the prisoners came loose.

27 Startled, the jailer awoke and saw every cell door standing open. Assuming that all the prisoners had escaped, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself 28 when Paul shouted in the darkness, “Stop! Don’t hurt yourself. We’re all still here.”

29 The jailer called for a light. When he saw that they were still in their cells, he rushed in and fell trembling at their feet. 30 Then he led Paul and Silas outside and asked, “What must I do to be saved?”

31 They answered, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved—you and all your family.” 32 Then they prophesied the word of the Lord over him and all his family. 33 Even though the hour was late, he washed their wounds. Then he and all his family were baptized. He took Paul and Silas into his home and set them at his table and fed them. 34 The jailer and all his family were filled with joy in their newfound faith in God.”

What are you willing to let go of today and place in the trusting hand of your Abba Father? Selah.

Here’s a super sweet country song I found online with the perfect message for us today. Enjoy!

Good Morning Beauties!

You’ve made it to Day 10! That’s fantastic!! You’ve made the sacrifices necessary to continue with your journey. I hope you can see the victory in your dedication and determination. Today is a time to thank God for all He’s doing in your life through sharing truth with you. No longer do you have to believe lies from the enemy that have kept you bound, but you can be free to be the beautiful woman God created. Today is a great day to look at the first 10 days of your journey. Spend time with God in prayer as you recount all the lies He has revealed and the truth He has replaced in your heart.

Please reflect on your journey to examine your growth and determine if your preparation is working. Refer to the writing in your journal where you listed your expectations of this experience. How is it lining up with what you envisioned? Is there something more you can do or you need God to do? Selah.

How are your action plans deterring the obstacles on your path? Are there any unexpected challenges hindering your growth? Do you need to make new plans? Selah.

Are you still motivated to complete your journey? Is your motivation getting you up and excited to begin your day with God? Are you pressing through the painful memories to do the work which will bring freedom to your life? Selah.

Let’s go back to Day 1 and look at your belief in beauty. Have your thoughts and feelings changed at all? Are you able to more readily accept the truth of your beauty? Selah.

Day 9 "You Are Lovely"
Power and Innocence

Power and Innocence

Good Morning Beauties!

Let’s look at the juxtaposition of Jesus today. We’ve touched on it the past few days, but let’s look a little further. Jesus is the Lion of Judah. Strong. Mighty. Powerful. Majestic. Jesus is also the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world. Gentle. Kind. Sweet. Humble. It seems impossible someone could possess two opposing attributes, but He does.

“The Lion and the Lamb are two images and names for God used in Scripture that describe aspects of Jesus Christ. The understood physical attributes of each earthly creature often point to the spiritual attributes of Jesus, who is as powerful and majestic as a lion and innocent as a sacrificial lamb.” Christianity.com

Why do you think Jesus is both Lion and Lamb? How do you view each one? What do you need from each one? Will you ask for what you need today? Selah.

Jesus lives inside of you, so does that mean you also possess both attributes? How will you use them to fulfill your purpose to the glory of your King? Selah.

Day 8 "Yet You Wear Humility"
Serve One Another in LOVE Photo by Anna Earl on Unsplash

Serve One Another in LOVE
Photo by Anna Earl on Unsplash

Good Morning Beauties!

Humility. Do we even know what it means? Is it behaving as though we are lower than others in a self-deprecating manner? Is it believing we are lower than others with no self worth? Is it thinking we’re not as good as others? Selah.

Does it come from our behavior, beliefs, or thinking? The answer is simple…it’s not thinking about ourselves at all! We behave in the manner of Jesus. He was selfless and always serving others. He knew who He was, (The King of Kings and Lord of Lords) and yet still knew His purpose was to serve others and bring them into the full knowledge of God. He was sent to Earth to save God’s children, and that’s what occupied His mind, heart, and behavior.

Look at Jesus’ example of the day He died. He was tortured, mocked, humiliated, and wrongfully accused. Yet, as they drove the nails in His hands, He was praying for us. “Father forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.” Luke 23:34. Can you think of a more beautiful picture of humility than this? I can’t.

So, just as loveliness contains both gentleness and strength, Majesty and Humility coexist in the spirit of God. We possess the might and power of God as well as love and care for others, even at our own expense. And that my lovely ladies, is beautiful.

Wrapped in His Love
Photo by Emil Jarfelt on Unsplash

Good Morning Beauties!

Majesty. What a beautiful word. It’s so glorious, it’s hard to describe. Shall we look to see how the King James Version Dictionary defines it?

1. Greatness of appearance; dignity; grandeur; dignity of aspect or manner; the quality or state of a person or thing which inspires awe or reverence in the beholder; applied with peculiar propriety to God and his works.

Jehovah reigneth; he is clothed with majesty. Ps.93.

The voice of Jehovah is full of majesty. Ps.29.

It is applied to the dignity, pomp and splendor of earthly princes.

When he showed the riches of his glorious kingdom--the honor of his excellent majesty many days-- Esth.1.

2. Dignity; elevation of manner.

The first in loftiness of thought surpass'd,

The next in majesty--

3. A title of emperors, kings and queens; as most royal majesty; may it please your majesty. In this sense, it admits of the plural; as, their majesties attended the concert.

What part of the definition stands out to you? Selah.

In reviewing the word in several Bible verses today, it becomes more clear God actually shares this beautiful word with us in different ways. Take a look at these examples:

“Lord, your name is so great and powerful. People everywhere see your majesty! What glory streams from the heavens, filling the earth with the fame of your name!” Psalm 8:9

“You have honored him and made him famous. Glory garments are upon him, and you surround him with splendor and majesty.” Psalm 21:5

“His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you. You can run under his covering of majesty and hide. His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.” Psalm 91:4

“Breathtaking brilliance and awe-inspiring majesty radiate from his shining presence. His stunning beauty overwhelms all who come before him.” Psalm 96:6

“Everything I am will praise and bless the Lord! O Lord, my God, your greatness takes my breath away, overwhelming me by your majesty, beauty, and splendor!” Psalm 104:1

Let’s take time to stand in awe of our truly awesome God with all His glory, splendor, and MAJESTY.

Good Morning Beauties!

Today our journey takes us to examine our loveliness. When you first hear the word, what comes to your mind? How do you describe it? What do you believe as you apply it to yourself? Selah.

Growing up, I was a tomboy and my older sister was the family princess - the lovely one. Beautiful in every way, slender, feminine, long flowing hair. I was short and stout and wore a pixie cut. I felt and believed I was anything but lovely. That belief was a lie, and I carried it for so many years.

Through this journey experience, I’ve come to know my loveliness, and I embrace it. I’ve discovered it has nothing to do with me really, but everything with God. If we look at the root word, “love,” it has everything to do with God - He IS love. Our loveliness comes from Him and lives in us through Jesus Christ.

Loveliness isn’t solely gentleness, but it’s also strength! Jesus was the perfect example of both. God’s creation also shows us how these two opposites work together. Take a look at the photo above. Do you marvel at how a sweet and dainty flower pushes through cold and hard ground to make an appearance every Spring? It’s truly miraculous! What is God asking you to push through? You have the strength in Him to breakthrough the hard ground. Selah.

Below is a beautiful song sung by a sweet choir. Here are the words…

“O God of gentle strength, Your love embraces me.
Within the sureness of Your care, my heart rests willingly.
Your waters of rebirth have claimed us as Your own.
As members of one body, we shall never be alone.
And when life’s challenges eclipse our minds with doubt,
Let Holy wisdom spark a flame to drive the darkness out.
Where will the journey lead? The path may be obscure.
But promised hope of things unseen will keep our footing sure.”

Good Morning Beauties!

Happy beautiful Sunday morning. As I look out my window, I see the sun shining on the landscape melting the mounds of long existing snow. It’s so nice to see the coldness replaced with warmth. Just like the rays of God’s Son, He transforms a cold heart into one of warmth, compassion, and love. “I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.” Ezekiel 36:26 NIV

I look again and see an icy path. Sun rays have not penetrated the covering of the surrounding tree limbs. Tall trees stand at attention on either side of the path, as if providing protection. Beauties, what’s protecting your heart and preventing God’s love to permeate and warm you with His truth? Selah.

Beauty is courage, strength, and bravery. It takes all three to allow God into your heart, into your belief system and do His transforming work. I believe you have all you need to move forward on this journey of change. Beliefs start as thoughts in our minds. Which ones have you believed from the enemy and now reside in your heart? They must be melted by God’s truth. Will you let His warmth do His work? Selah.

God, I invite your searching gaze into my heart. Examine me through and through; find out everything that may be hidden within me. Put me to the test and sift through all my anxious cares.

Good Morning Beauties!

I pray you have found hope and encouragement in the first few days of your journey. What is the Lord stirring up in your spirit as you lean in to Him and listen as He whispers truth to your heart? Selah.

God has reminded me today how we are set apart from the world and are made Holy. We are uniquely made by the hand of the Creator. One of a kind. Special. Do you believe it? Selah.

Below is a beautiful verse and song I pray will bless you. Open your mind and heart and let this truth wash over you.

“You are not forgotten, for you have been chosen and destined by Father God. The Holy Spirit has set you apart to be God’s holy ones, obedient followers of Jesus Christ who have been gloriously sprinkled with his blood. May God’s delightful grace and peace cascade over you many times over.” 1 Peter 1:2 TPT

Day 3 "Loved Above All Things"

Rise Above It All

Good Morning Beauties!

Loved above all things? Really? Is that true? YES! How can God love me despite all my mistakes and failures, daily failures? God does not put conditions on His love for us. He loves us whole heartedly and nothing can separate us from His unfailing love. Let’s look at what scriptures tells us…
”So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles, fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One!” Romans 8:38-39 The Passion Translation.

Do you find this love hard to believe? Is it because someone has put conditions on their love for you? I think we as humans do put conditions on our love for others. If we’ve been hurt by someone, we tend not to love them with all our heart. It’s even hard to pray for them as we’re commanded to by God.

Have you ever tried to prove yourself worthy of someone’s love? I have. We tell ourselves, “if I’m good enough, surely they’ll love me.” With God, there’s no need to earn His love by good performance. He loves us just the way we are, and above all things. (The good, the bad, and the ugly.)

Reflect on times when you’ve doubted God’s love for you. What specific lies from the enemy did you believe? Pray and ask God to bring these lies to the surface so He can replace them with His truth. Will you join God who sees you rise above the things of this world, including your sin? Selah.

Childhood Stories

Good Morning Beauties!

Where did you first hear the word “Princess”? Think back. Was it in your childhood, either reading stories or watching movies? Those very first stories we heard or saw left an impression. We may not have realized it, but they did. Write down some early memories of those stories and how you thought about them in relationship to yourself. How did they shape your early self esteem?

There’s another story, and this one is real. God, the father sent His only Son, Jesus, to die for us so we could be reunited with Him for eternity. When we believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus, we become daughters of the Most High King…. a true Princess! Let me ask you, are you walking around living your life in your God given role of Princess? Selah.

Beauties, take time to be in touch with your thoughts and feelings surrounding this truth today. You ARE a daughter of The King. It’s a fact. Write down any thoughts coming to mind saying anything in opposition to this truth. Bring those lies before God and have Him help you release them. Selah.

Day 1 "You Are Beautiful"
My Sacred Place

My Sacred Place

Good Morning Beauties!

It’s here! We’re starting Day 1 of our 40 Day Journey. Thank you for your diligence in completing your preparation. Now that you’ve established your expectations, devised your action plans, and have ignited your motivation, let’s begin.

Have you established your “secret place”? It’s a special place you’ve designated to meet with God. It doesn’t have to be anything fancy or pristine, just a place where you can escape the distractions of the world and find intimacy with God. My secret place faces a window. As I look outside, I’m reminded everyday of God’s beauty through nature. I watch the sunrise, hear birds singing, and watch squirrels running through the trees. It’s a wonderful place to meet with God. Where is your secret place?

Beauty. What is it? It’s been an important part of creation, well, since creation. The Bible is full of verses using beauty and beautiful. We find beauty in literature, movies, songs, and the arts in general. Beauty is important in most cultures, especially here in the U.S. We can’t escape it. So what is it? How do you define it? Is it internal, external, or both? Selah.

Once you define it, explore how you believe it relates to you. Get in touch with how you really think and feel and then journal about those ideas. Pray God will reveal any lies the enemy has told you in regards to your beauty. The Lord is there with you and wants you to know the truth about your beauty.

As we get started, it’s also very important to know you can trust God with your most inner thoughts and feelings. He is safe. He is trustworthy. Below is the reassurance we need to know we are loved and God will be with us, protecting us as we take our journey. Please take time to read through the beautiful verses and journal about what He’s speaking to you.

Psalm 91 - The Passion Translation
”When you sit enthroned under the shadow of Shaddai,
you are hidden in the strength of God Most High.
2 He’s the hope that holds me and the Stronghold to shelter me,
the only God for me, and my great confidence.
3 He will rescue you from every hidden trap of the enemy,
and he will protect you from false accusation
and any deadly curse.
4 His massive arms are wrapped around you, protecting you.
You can run under his covering of majesty and hide.
His arms of faithfulness are a shield keeping you from harm.
5 You will never worry about an attack of demonic forces at night
nor have to fear a spirit of darkness coming against you.
6 Don’t fear a thing!
Whether by night or by day, demonic danger will not trouble you,
nor will the powers of evil launched against you.
7 Even in a time of disaster, with thousands and thousands being killed,
you will remain unscathed and unharmed.
8 you will be a spectator as the wicked perish in judgment,
for they will be paid back for what they have done!
9–10 When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High,
our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm.
How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
11 God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go,
defending you from all harm.
12 If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you
and keep you from stumbling.
13 You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness,
trampling every one of them beneath your feet!
14 For here is what the Lord has spoken to me:
“Because you have delighted in me as my great lover,
I will greatly protect you.
I will set you in a high place, safe and secure before my face.
15 I will answer your cry for help every time you pray,
and you will find and feel my presence
even in your time of pressure and trouble.
I will be your glorious hero and give you a feast.
16 You will be satisfied with a full life and with all that I do for you.
For you will enjoy the fullness of my salvation!”

In the Secret (In the Quiet Place)

Love and Blessings,
Kendra
