Day 21 "You Are Righteous"

Beautifully Robed in Righteousness

Good Afternoon Beauties!

Before we get started with our next truth and attribute, I want to encourage you to daily meet with Jesus, even when it’s difficult. This morning I’ve been feeling unwell and stayed in bed in hopes of feeling better which meant missing a meeting and delaying this blog. Instead of feeling guilty, I slept another few hours, got up, and spent precious time with the Lord. It’s okay to take care of yourself and those around you and still make time for Jesus. it may just need to look a little different,

Okay, now let’s look at the next truth on our journey - you are RIGHTEOUS. Paul does an amazing job describing righteousness in the book of Romans. “Now do you see it? No one can ever be made right in God’s sight by doing what the law commands. For the more we know of God’s laws, the clearer it becomes that we aren’t obeying them; his laws serve only to make us see that we are sinners. But now God has shown us a different way to heaven—not by “being good enough” and trying to keep his laws, but by a new way (though not new, really, for the Scriptures told about it long ago). Now God says he will accept and acquit us—declare us “not guilty”—if we trust Jesus Christ to take away our sins. And we all can be saved in this same way, by coming to Christ, no matter who we are or what we have been like.” Romans 3:20-22 (TLB)

Beauties, this is great news!!! So many women I know still stress and strive to be “good enough” in their walk with the Lord. Do you struggle with it too? Re-read the Romans scripture and let God’s word reassure you of your righteousness before the Holy One. Find comfort and peace and then praise Jesus with a grateful heart for making it possible. Selah.

Yes, everything else is worthless when compared with the priceless gain of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. I have put aside all else, counting it worth less than nothing, in order that I can have Christ, and become one with him, no longer counting on being saved by being good enough or by obeying God’s laws, but by trusting Christ to save me; for God’s way of making us right with himself depends on faith—counting on Christ alone.
