Day 30 "And You Are Beautiful"
The Beauty of a Grateful Heart
Good Morning Beauties!
“The Lord will surely comfort Zion and will look with compassion on all her ruins; he will make her deserts like Eden, her wastelands like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and the sound of singing” Isaiah 51:3-4 NIV
In this verse, Zion represents God’s people - the Church. I think it’s appropriate if we personalize it. Read the verse again aloud, and use your name instead of Zion. How does this beautiful passage tell your story? How has Jesus comforted you? What were the ruins He’s healed? How has He made your wastelands flourish? How do you express your joy and gladness? How will you give Him thanks today? Selah.
The story of Mary Magdalene, found in the gospels, in one of a beautifully redeemed soul who’s life was transformed by Jesus. Possessed by seven demons, her life was that of torment and rejection. Jesus had compassion on her life of ruins and created a stunning masterpiece of beauty, grace, and love. As a devoted follower of Jesus, Mary’s heart was filled with gratitude towards her Lord and Savior, and she expressed her appreciation in her daily walk with Him.
In this short video, Mary finds herself back in her previous sin and is deeply ashamed to face Jesus. How could she have sinned after all He had done for her? That’s a great question. How can we continue to sin after all Jesus has done for us? Selah.
I love Jesus’ tender response to Mary’s question. Let the Holy Spirit speak to your heart through this video. How has the enemy used shame as a stronghold in your life? What truth does God want you to know so you can replace the lie with it? You may need to watch the video a couple of times to understand all He wants to say. Selah.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.”
