Day 32 "Darkness Turned To Light"
Go Light Up The Darkness
Good Morning Beauties!
“This is the message God has given us to pass on to you: that God is Light and in him is no darkness at all. So if we say we are his friends but go on living in spiritual darkness and sin, we are lying. But if we are living in the light of God’s presence, just as Christ does, then we have wonderful fellowship and joy with each other, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from every sin.” 1 John 1:5-7 (TLB)
I remember well when this very scripture was the beginning of a great healing in my life. I was a Christian, involved in my church, leading Bible studies and a dance ministry, and yet there was darkness. The troubles from my childhood still remained despite numerous councilors and years of therapy. In frustration, I yelled out to God, “You say where there is light, there is no darkness. Well, I still have darkness in me! Jesus, you’re going to have to heal me.” Almost immediately He answered my prayer, and I experienced great healing and the darkness was replaced by His marvelous light. Hallelujah!
How about you? How does your story speak to God’s awesome power to transform the darkness into light? Are you able to look back when darkness controlled your life prior to knowing Jesus? How can you take those memories and knowledge and help others into the light? Selah.
As the scripture above states, we can’t be friends with Jesus if we’re living in spiritual darkness. We’re in need of daily repentance which will keep us in the light of the Lord. Is there any unconfessed sin needing to be brought into the light? Jesus will meet you there and forgive you. Selah
Beauties, let’s praise God for taking our darkness and giving us a ministry to shine the light wherever we go.

“Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful.”
