Good Afternoon Beauties!
“God is love. When we take up permanent residence in a life of love, we live in God and God lives in us. This way, love has the run of the house, becomes at home and mature in us, so that we’re free of worry on Judgment Day—our standing in the world is identical with Christ’s. There is no room in love for fear. Well-formed love banishes fear. Since fear is crippling, a fearful life—fear of death, fear of judgment—is one not yet fully formed in love.” 1 John 4:17-18 The Message Bible
Living as a Child of Love means we can walk in complete freedom of God’s wrath and disappointment. Do you feel pressure to please God? Please others? What will happen if you don’t meet the expectations of others, or even yourself? Is there any element of fear? Selah.
The enemy is still at work if we are living in fear - even a little. Today, spend time with God and let Him reveal those fearful places so He can replace that fear with His love. When you do, you will live each day in pure freedom, knowing the King of the Universe loves you. Look at His promise, “My heart will not fear even if an army rises to attack. I will not be shaken, even if war is imminent.” Psalm 27:3 The Passion Translation
